This is the third location where we have shifted in last 4 years. As we don’t have much location specific clients so it doesn’t matter much if we change location within same city. Our last two locations were in DLF Phase – III, which was better place in terms of connectivity, it was within commuting distance of Metro Train and PGs nearby were good for Employees accommodation.
What prompted us to shift was the ambience of the locality, it wasn’t giving a feeling of corporate culture there, being in residential basement complex.
We were brooding over the idea of shifting for last one and half year but couldn’t quite like anything given the sky rocketing prices in Gurgaon for Real Estate. But in 2014 New year, revenues started growing and luckily we found a new IT Hub which was built recently so was affordable for our Startup. Now the location was zeroed in, next issue was commuting. Since it was little far from center of city and a newly developed IT Hub, so Metro Train connectivity wasn’t there. So we had to do the Shuttle for Employees for two common points (Iffco Chowk and Sikandarpur). It was a little resistance from Employees but turned out fine. Now we have a corporate office to speak of and as usual trying to make it Employee friendly culture 🙂
